Maintenance Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance tasks including repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of the building, equipment, and systems to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize disruption.
• Ensure maintenance supplies and tools are organized and properly maintained.
• Collaborate with facilities management and external contractors to complete projects effectively.
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in maintaining records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
• Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or emergency call-outs if needed.
