Director of Nursing (RN) - Cura of Onamia

Cura Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (RN) for our Cura of Onamia facility. As the Director of Nursing, you will play a critical leadership role in overseeing all nursing operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will lead, inspire, and manage the nursing team while fostering a supportive and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the nursing department to maintain excellent standards of care.
• Manage nursing staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and compliance of nursing policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare for inspections and audits.
• Monitor patient care quality, safety standards, and resident satisfaction, implementing improvements as needed.
• Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation within the nursing department.
• Serve as a role model fostering a culture of compassion, integrity, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proven leadership experience in nursing, preferably in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and healthcare compliance standards.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse nursing team effectively.
• Experience with budgeting, staffing, and resource management.
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered care with a compassionate approach.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
