Join our dynamic security team as a Security Dispatcher, where you'll be the vital link ensuring safety, communication, and efficient operations across our facilities. In this energetic role, you will monitor security systems, coordinate responses to incidents, and maintain clear communication channels with staff, law enforcement, and emergency responders. Duties
- Operate CCTV surveillance systems to monitor premises and identify suspicious activity or security breaches
- Dispatch security personnel promptly to incidents or alarms, ensuring swift response and resolution
- Maintain open lines of communication with law enforcement, emergency services, and internal teams during emergencies or routine operations
- Document all incidents accurately through detailed report writing for future reference and analysis
- Monitor access control points, verifying credentials of visitors, contractors, and staff to prevent unauthorized entry
- Utilize surveillance equipment to conduct routine checks and support loss prevention efforts
- Manage incoming calls related to security concerns or inquiries, providing clear instructions and support
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable
- Strong dispatching skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and access control procedures
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, law enforcement, and emergency responders
- Ability to write comprehensive incident reports clearly and accurately
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and conflict management techniques
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations professionally
