A genuine generalist design role spans:
- Customer-facing creative (brand campaigns, social, broadcast-ready visuals for clubs, broadcasters, and athletes)
- Production (motion-ready assets, graphics packages, video templates)
- Stat pack design (data-rich broadcast-grade graphics used by world-leading broadcasters as on-air production tools)
- Toolbox templates (design inside the product, balancing creative quality with data-driven constraints)
- Contribution to two internal design systems (one for stat packs, one for the Toolbox UI).
- The right candidate moves fluently between brand work, motion, product UI, and design systems without losing quality in the transition.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects.
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Experience designing for multiple output formats — social, digital, and broadcast.
- Comfortable working across multiple projects and briefs simultaneously without dropping quality.
- High standards visible in portfolio detail; receptive to feedback and able to iterate.
- Self-directed — doesn't need to be managed to get things done.
- Good communicator — can take a brief, ask the right questions, present their thinking.
- Collaborative across design, product, and production teams.
Strongly Valued (Differentiators)
- Motion graphics or video production experience.
- Experience working within or contributing to a design system.
- Previous work in a creative agency, sports organisation, or media environment.
- Ability to pick up new tools and workflows quickly.
- Genuine passion for sport — particularly football.
Platforms & Tools
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- Figma (UI, prototyping, design systems / components).
- Motion / video production tooling (After Effects core; bonus for Premiere / Cinema 4D / Lottie exposure).
