Event Manager Full-Time Day Shift

Summary

Develop and manage a comprehensive annual special events program. Creates event goals, timelines, budgets, and fundraising strategies and manages all event logistics including venues, catering, entertainment, contracts, décor, audiovisual services, and transportation. Lead sponsorship solicitation efforts and ensure fulfillment of sponsor benefits. Plan and oversee fundraising events, donor appreciation events, and signature campaigns. Generates reports and monitors event outcomes including revenue, expenses, and results to evaluate and increase fundraising event program growth and to recommend improvements. Collaborate with Marketing to develop materials related to events including media releases, social media posts, photo sessions and sponsor recognitions. Identify opportunities to expand community engagement and increase fundraising impact. Cultivate and maintain relationships with sponsors, donors, vendors, and community partners. Manage the Development Assistant regarding administrative support of all events and database administration. Supervise volunteers and committees.

Job Qualifications

• BA or BS in related field or equivalent mix of education and experience
• Three years of relevant experience
• Analytic ability, including familiarity with statistical analysis
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work accurately with detail
• Computer experience and skills working with word processing and spreadsheets
• Knowledge of functions and relationships of departments within a health care environment preferred
• Manual dexterity, coordination and skillful use of hands for working with equipment
• Ability to receive and express detailed information through oral communication, visual acuity and the ability to read and understand written directions
• Occasionally lift and transport items weighing up to ten (10) pounds

Pay Range: $61,604 - $97,375 annually
