About the team
This is a unique opportunity to join the Retail Partnerships team, the driver behind one of Angi's highest growth revenue opportunity streams. Our team has a proven track record of building and managing successful integrations with industry leaders like Walmart, Lowe’s, Wayfair, and many others. We are now at a pivotal inflection point as we transition our Shopify businessline from a successful pilot into a dedicated scaling phase.
We are looking for a results-oriented contributor to drive our next phase of expansion. In this role, you will operate within an entrepreneurial environment supported by the resources of an industry leader, with a primary focus on scaling the Shopify ecosystem and closing new merchant partnerships. As you drive growth and bring new partners into the fold, you will be a key source of insight—providing the critical feedback leadership needs to refine our processes and long-term strategy. We work cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Ops, Strategy, and Legal to ensure assembly and installation services are a seamless, 'one-click' reality for every merchant in our pipeline.
What you’ll do
As the Partner Manager, you will serve as the primary driver of growth for the end-to-end Shopify merchant lifecycle. You will spearhead a high-velocity acquisition and optimization engine, navigating partners from initial outreach through technical implementation and account optimization, to ensure our partners are positioned for maximum success. Your ultimate objective is to lead a high-impact funnel that achieves our strategic revenue milestones.
Merchant Prospecting & Database Enrichment: Drive the continuous expansion of Angi’s merchant database by identifying and qualifying top-tier Shopify Plus prospects. You will utilize StoreLeads, ListKit, and other resources to enrich our existing lists and build a high-caliber pipeline for our partnership growth engine.
High-Volume Outreach Management: Lead the execution of automated outreach strategies to drive merchant acquisition at scale. You will manage the end-to-end communication flow, from initial cold touch to scheduled discovery calls and closing communications, optimizing every step of the journey to build a robust and predictable revenue pipeline.
New Partner Onboarding: Own the 'handshake' between initial interest and a live integration. You will guide new merchants through the operational setup, delivering data-driven pricing strategies that highlight Angi’s value proposition while ensuring a seamless technical onboarding experience for the merchant.
Partner Optimization and Success: Own the post-launch partner lifecycle by implementing a 90-day optimization plan designed to deliver a best-in-class onboarding and ramping experience. You will lead structured monthly check-ins throughout the first quarter of the partnership to identify growth opportunities, refine service integrations, and ensure the partner is scaling effectively. Additionally, you will serve as the primary lead for inbound partner inquiries, providing timely and strategic support to maintain program momentum and strengthen long-term relationships.
Proactive Performance & Risk Management: Regularly audit partner performance data to catch and resolve issues before they scale. You will act as the rapid-response lead for any sudden revenue-impacting events, conducting deep-dive diagnostics and coordinating with internal teams to implement timely solutions.
Foundational Strategy & Playbook Development: Serve as a core architect of the Shopify growth engine. You will be responsible for identifying gaps in our current processes and iterating on the 'Day-to-Day Playbook' to drive efficiency. As the program evolves, you will help design and test new operational frameworks, ensuring our go-to-market strategy remains agile and scalable as we move from proof-of-concept to a platform-led model.
Who you are
Your background
2–3+ years of professional experience in business development, partnerships, account management, or a quota-carrying sales role.
You've worked in tech, SaaS, a marketplace, or another fast-moving, high-growth environment — you know what it's like to operate without a fully built playbook.
You’ve experienced managing your sales through integration and success — identifying optimizations and working with your clients to grow their accounts.
Familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem or e-commerce landscape is a plus; you don't need to be an expert, but you can get up to speed fast.
How you close
Demonstrated experience building pipeline from scratch and seeing deals through to close — you're comfortable owning the full sales cycle from cold outreach to signed agreement.
You're equally at home prospecting net-new partners as you are expanding and optimizing existing ones (hunter and farmer).
How you operate
Scrappy and resourceful — you figure things out, ask for help when you need it, and don't wait to be told what to do.
Comfortable with ambiguity; you can build structure where there isn't any and iterate quickly as things change.
You're analytical and data-driven — you use performance data to identify trends, flag risks early, and make the case for what's working and what isn't.
You actively use AI tools to work smarter and move faster — and ideally you've helped build or iterate on AI-assisted workflows, not just used them out of the box
Cross-functional collaborator — you know how to work with Product, Ops, Finance, and Legal to get things across the finish line.
Experience in operations or leading strategic initiatives is a plus; you think beyond the immediate deal to the broader program health.
We value diversity
We know that the best ideas come from teams where diverse points of view uncover new solutions to hard problems. We welcome and value individuals who bring diverse life experiences, educational backgrounds, cultures, and work experiences.
Our hiring process may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist in candidate screening and assessment. Our AI tools are designed to complement, not replace, human decision-making.
Compensation & Benefits

This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package.
