We are seeking a Freelance Experiential Marketing Manager to support upcoming book launch and signing events in Connecticut. This role will focus on event coordination, logistical support, and on-site execution for promotional activations.
This is a flexible, part-time freelance opportunity ideal for someone with experience in events, experiential marketing, or live activations.
Responsibilities
- Support planning and coordination of book launch and signing events.
- Assist with event logistics, scheduling, and venue coordination.
- Liaise with bookstores, venues, and partners where required.
- Provide on-site support during activations and launches.
- Coordinate with the client team to ensure smooth event execution.
- Help maintain a professional and engaging attendee experience.
Requirements
- Experience in experiential marketing, events, promotions, or brand activations.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible event-based schedules.
- Comfortable working independently and proactively.
- Based in or near Connecticut preferred.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
- Experience supporting book launches, retail events, author tours, or live activations.
- Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with local venues and event logistics is a plus.
