  • Configure client-side or customer-specific network components such as firewall rules, VPN tunnels, IP allowlists, NAT rules, and routing changes.

  • Troubleshoot client connectivity issues across VPNs, firewalls, cloud networks, and on-premise environments.
  • Translate technical findings into clear explanations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure network compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and procedures.
  • Stay current with emerging networking technologies and incorporate them as appropriate.

  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, or wireless network equipment.
  • Familiarity with firewall policy configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience troubleshooting network issues using tools such as ping, traceroute, nslookup/dig, tcpdump, Wireshark, or firewall logs.
  • Basic understanding of network security principles, including segmentation, least privilege, secure remote access, and access control.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.
  • Comfortable participating in client meetings and explaining technical topics in practical terms.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with site-to-site VPNs, IPsec, SSL VPN, remote access VPN, and client VPN configurations.
  • Experience with SD-WAN or multi-site network environments.
  • Knowledge of load balancers, reverse proxies, WAFs, or secure web gateways.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds, LibreNMS, Datadog, Grafana, or similar.
  • Understanding of security standards or frameworks such as ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, SOC 2, or NIST.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a managed services, consulting, SaaS, or client-facing infrastructure role.

Benefits
