Founding Power Systems Engineer

The Role

Founding mechanical engineer and PE of record for all mechanical deliverables. You deliver real piping and mechanical engineering on live projects AND build the automated engine that makes your workflow repeatable for every future project. Your stamp is central to the business model.

What You Will Do

• Deliver complete mechanical packages on live projects: pipe specs, smart P&IDs, 3D piping models, stress analysis (AutoPIPE), and IFC isometric construction packages

• Build a parametric design engine that generates piping layouts for both traditional chilled water and advanced liquid cooling architectures from a single parameter template

• Own cross-discipline coordination: mechanical equipment loads feeding electrical calculations, pipe support loads feeding structural design

• Stamp mechanical drawings and build multi-state PE coverage

What Matters

• PE license in at least one US state preferred but not required

• Strong piping fundamentals (ASME B31.1/B31.3, stress analysis, P&ID development)

• Working proficiency with relevant tools (AutoPIPE, Plant 3D, Revit MEP, or similar)

• Ability to do the engineering and think about how to automate it

• Attitude and curiosity over years of experience
