Meet the Property Law team

The Property team is a specialist division within LEAP, focused on software solutions for our Property Lawyers & Conveyancers. We’re a cross-functional team of legal professionals, software engineers, designers, and client-focused operational experts, working closely together to deliver practical products and solutions used every day by Property Law firms. 

What you'll do

AI is the future and LEAP is at the forefront technically of applying AI into the legal industry. This is an opportunity for a Property Lawyer or Conveyancer who feels passionately about what's possible through custom technology and AI. As a collaborator with a passion for all things tech, you'll bring your expertise in property law and conveyancing and your ability to understand our clients to focus on the needs of property law firms. You'll report to the Manager of the Property Law vertical and help drive the direction this business unit takes. The products you contribute to will see your colleagues in property law and conveyancing soar and put them ahead of every other lawyer out there. 

To make this happen, you will:

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the needs of Property Law & Conveyancing practitioners to provide ongoing feedback to members of product and development teams to help drive the development of these products.
• Ensure clients use LEAP Property Law in the best possible way.
• Test and review functionality to ensure it meets the real-work needs of law firms.
• Educate clients on LEAP Property Law nationally, including delivering demos and webinars, attending seminars, networking events, and relevant conferences.
• Work directly with clients to deliver training, gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve their workflows.
• Write legal content to be used in specific property law articles and marketing material.

What you'll bring

• 4+ years of recent experience as a practicing Property lawyer or conveyancer.
• A strong understanding of and passion for AI technologies and their application within the legal sector. 
• Experience developing legal content or automated forms related to property law.
• Strong presentation skills – you can effectively present LEAP features to a group of people and have the ability to read the room.
