They are looking for a Director of Business Development who is ready to define how this organisation shows up in one of the most dynamic markets in the region, and beyond.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Winning profitable business from both new and existing clients
- Identifying client needs, qualifying opportunities, and collaborating with internal delivery teams to craft compelling solutions
- Leading proposal development and pricing coordination
- Identifying opportunities for differentiation in technical capability, project delivery, and commercial strategy
- Calling on prospective owner-operators, decision-makers, and key accounts
- Conducting cold outreach and targeted lead generation
- Attending industry conferences, networking events, and serving as a thought leader in your space
- Gathering and returning competitive intelligence to strengthen market positioning
- Participating in project management activities for engagements you help secure
- Serving as the primary client contact to deepen and expand long-term relationships
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (required)
- 8+ years of business development or senior sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
- A proven track record of winning and growing accounts at a senior level
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert high-value opportunities
- A proactive, outgoing, results-driven approach with the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all organisational levels
- Willingness to travel regionally and nationally as required
- Ability to work fully on-site at our Greater Savannah, GA location
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- Established professional network across the Southeast US
- Experience building or scaling a business development function within a vertical market
- Familiarity with the Greater Savannah / Coastal Georgia business landscape

- Base Salary: $160,000 to $224,000 per year, based on experience
