Echo Technician

Pay: $53-$68- rate is dependent on distance from tax home address.

Contract- 13 weeks

Shift- Days (8a-4:30p)

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Echo Technician to join our healthcare team. The Echo Technician will be responsible for performing echocardiographic examinations, assisting cardiologists in diagnosing heart conditions, and providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and related diagnostic tests under the direction of cardiologists.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing questions or concerns.
• Maintain and operate echocardiography equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure image quality meets diagnostic standards for accurate interpretation.
• Record and document patient information and procedure details accurately in compliance with healthcare protocols.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and effective communication.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Echocardiography Technician program or equivalent.
• ARDMS certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Proficient in operating echocardiography equipment and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
