Our Darling Downs campus in Hilbert is a K-11, co-ed Christian school that is blessed with a spacious and modern campus, set in peaceful and semi-rural surroundings. Requirements
About the role
The School Administration Officer role focuses on supporting the administrative duties of the school. The successful candidate will be highly organised and detail focussed, with excellent communication skills. Duties include:
- Living out your faith in a Christian school community, with an attitude of hospitality, care and excellence;
- Contributing to the holistic care and welfare of students, including providing student services;
- Assisting with enrolments and recording data accurately;
- Managing enquiries from students, parents, staff and the general public with kindness and professionalism;
- Managing student attendance;
- Performing administrative tasks, including writing emails, answering phone calls, managing the principal's calendar and assisting with school events.
- Engaging with and learning how to use software and systems utilised in school settings, such as Google Suites and a Student Information System (Salesforce); and,
- Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
This full-time role (term time plus 5 extra working weeks in the holidays spread across the year) is expected to start as soon as is practicable.
