CNC Machinist

We’re looking for a Senior CNC Machinist who enjoys complex setups, problem-solving, and leading by example on the shop floor.

This is a hands-on role, not management — ideal for an experienced machinist who wants influence without leaving the machines.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
• Read blueprints and interpret GD&T
• Program or modify toolpaths using Mastercam
• Optimize tooling, feeds/speeds, and setup processes
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, indicators, and height gages
• Support and mentor other machinists
• Document work and inspection results in ProShop ERP
• Contribute to continuous improvement and shop organization

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience
• Strong setup and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Mastercam and precision inspection tools
• Solid understanding of tooling, materials, and machining strategies
• Familiarity with AS9100 practices
• Reliable, quality-focused, and team-oriented
