Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) powers the industries of today and tomorrow by connecting the people with big ideas to the manufacturers who can bring them to life. Xometry’s digital marketplace gives manufacturers the critical resources they need to grow their business while also making it easy for buyers at Fortune 1000 companies to tap into global manufacturing capacity.

Xometry is seeking a Senior Director & Product Lead to serve as the General Manager of our landmark partnership with Siemens. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for a strategic operator who possesses the rare combination of deep technical fluency in PLM/CAD ecosystems and the entrepreneurial drive to scale a "business-within-a-business."

As the primary architect of the Siemens Embedded DFM AI + IQE track, you will be the single point of accountability for the success of this partnership. You will lead the "Phase 1 and Phase 2" evolution—moving from real-time manufacturability feedback to a full-lifecycle "one-click" marketplace integrated natively within Siemens Designcenter and Teamcenter. You are not a people manager; you are a Product GM who exerts influence through technical authority, strategic vision, and relentless execution across Xometry’s Engineering, Data Science, and Sales organizations.

This role requires a hybrid schedule (3 days a week) at our North Bethesda, MD or Waltham, MA office location.

How You'll Contribute

  • Strategic Ownership: Assume full end-to-end ownership of the Xometry-Siemens partnership. You will define the overarching product vision and commercial roadmap that leverages Xometry’s vertically integrated marketplace platform, while spearheading the development and scaling of a dedicated SaaS platform-product.
  • Product Architecture & Execution: Lead the discovery process to extract Xometry’s core AI engines (DFM and IQE) and embed them into Siemens software. You will ensure the product operates on native 3D geometry to deliver materially richer insights than any competitor.
  • Stakeholder Navigation: Serve as the primary partner to Siemens’ executive leadership. You will navigate complex enterprise requirements—including ring-fenced data governance and dedicated tenant deployments—to ensure Xometry remains Siemens’ exclusive ideation-to-delivery partner.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Orchestrate a "matrixed" team of Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Program Managers. While you won't have direct reports, you will set the technical and product priorities that these teams execute against.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with Xometry’s business leadership to define the monetization and adoption strategy for Siemens’ massive global user base, ensuring "click-to-buy" becomes the standard workflow for every Siemens engineer.
  • Operational Excellence: Define the KPIs and success metrics for the partnership, ensuring the integration meets enterprise-grade standards for latency, accuracy, and reliability.

What You'll Bring to Xometry

  • 12+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering Leadership, or GM roles, with a heavy emphasis on PLM, CAD, or Industrial SaaS.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Deep, firsthand knowledge of the Siemens ecosystem (NX, Teamcenter, Solid Edge) or direct competitors (Dassault, Autodesk). You understand the "digital thread" and how designers make procurement decisions.
  • Technical Depth: You can go toe-to-toe with Staff Engineers and Data Scientists on topics like geometric deep learning, native 3D geometry processing, and cloud-to-enterprise security architectures.
  • "Super IC" Mindset: You are a master of individual output. You produce the strategies, PRDs, and technical specs that define the program, rather than managing via delegation.
  • Entrepreneurial Track Record: Proven experience taking a complex, multi-stakeholder product from concept to high-volume commercial success.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or advanced technical degree is highly preferred.

You Would Be A Great Fit With

  • A "Science Fiction" Visionary: You believe that bringing a design to the real world should happen at the speed of software and have the technical chops to make it happen.
  • The Bridge Builder: You excel at translating the rigid requirements of legacy industrial giants into the agile, AI-native workflows of Xometry.
  • Marketplace Maven: You have a background in e-commerce or B2B marketplaces and understand the friction points in traditional sourcing and procurement.

What Xometry Will Bring To You

  • The base pay range for this role is $210,000 - $240,000. The total compensation package includes base, bonus, and equity.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including 401k match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and generous paid time off.
  • A stipend for catered lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
