Okie Staffing is currently hiring experienced Cooks to support high-volume hospitality clients, including events, catering, and resort-style environments. If you take pride in quality food, fast-paced kitchens, and being part of a strong team—this is a great opportunity.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to detail
Assist with food production for restaurants, catering, and events
Follow recipes, prep sheets, and portion standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO)
Support team members and communicate effectively during service
Uphold food safety and workplace safety standards

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Culinary training or trade certification preferred
ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain)
Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, supervisors, and team members
Minimum of 3 years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen
Strong knowledge of food safety, handling, and sanitation standards
Experience in high-volume or hospitality environments preferred
Background in culinary competitions or advanced training is a plus
Uniform Requirements
