Job purpose

The Contract Manager is responsible for leading all contract administration activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring effective management of contractual obligations, claims, variations, and commercial risks. This role requires strong technical and commercial expertise, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to operate within a fast-paced PMC environment while ensuring compliance with KSA regulations and client standards.

Duties and responsibilities

·       Manage all contract administration activities across design, construction, and handover phases.

·       Review, interpret, and enforce contract terms, conditions, and obligations.

·       Lead the preparation, evaluation, and negotiation of variations, claims, and contractual disputes.

·       Support procurement processes, tender evaluations, and contract award recommendations.

·       Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

·       Maintain accurate contract records, logs, and documentation.

·       Provide commercial and contractual advice to project leadership and stakeholders.

·       Identify contractual risks and implement mitigation strategies.

·       Coordinate with legal, commercial, and technical teams to resolve issues.

·       Prepare contract reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.

·       Perform related duties as assigned by Line Manager 

·       Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

·       Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.

·       Relevant certificates (e.g., PMP, CCP) are highly preferred.

·       Demonstrated expertise in contract management, commercial administration, and claims handling.

·       Minimum 15 years of proven experience in high-rise towers or major mega construction projects.

·       Mandatory experience working on large-scale projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

·       Prior experience in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment is strongly preferred.

·       Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and commercial governance.
