We are seeking a full-time Geotechnical Lab/CMT Technician I to join our Lab Services team in Fort Collins, CO. We aspire to bring talented individuals into our team as we grow our impact on the clients and communities we serve through excellence in design, planning, and project execution.
This Technician will be responsible for performing quality control services, including testing and observing constructed civil works. The primary objective is to identify defects in products before completion and release. This role involves determining the characteristics of constructed materials in accordance with project plans and specifications, while ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with all safety procedures and regulations.
- Conduct compliance testing in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform testing and observation of materials and structures to ensure quality standards.
- Document findings and generate reports for review.
- Work collaboratively with team members and contractors to maintain quality control.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 0-3 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred qualifications:
- WAQTC Certification
- ACI Field Tech. 1 Certification
- Experience within the construction industry
Technical skills and abilities:
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Perform calculations involving proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Follow detailed written and/or oral instructions.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
