About the Job
Rent the Runway is looking for a highly organized and proactive Sample Coordinator to join our Fashion team. In this role, you will be the engine behind our studio workflow, supporting the daily management of our product samples. You will manage the lifecycle of our inventory to ensure every item is ready for its high-volume photo shoots. As part of the Fashion team, your work ensures our shared closet is visually represented at its best for our customers. This role requires a process-oriented mindset and the ability to pivot between multiple requests to keep the studio running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end process for ordering, tracking, and managing all incoming and outgoing samples.
- Act as the primary point of contact between key stakeholders to communicate sample availability and timelines.
- Support the Sample Team in day-to-day operations to ensure samples are prepped according to production standards.
- Identify potential bottlenecks in the sample flow and develop solutions to keep the creative team moving.
- Utilize Excel and Airtable to track high volumes of inventory with a high level of accuracy.
About You
- You have proven experience in a fast-paced environment; experience in a studio or fashion environment is a plus.
- You are remarkably organized, live for a good system, and have a keen ability to multitask.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to keep all parties informed.
- You are tech-savvy with a strong working knowledge of Excel and are comfortable navigating inventory management systems.
- You have a sharp eye for detail and a dedicated, collaborative spirit.
- You are flexible and solution-oriented in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.

The anticipated hourly salary for this position is $25/hr. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held.
