Sprinter Health

About Sprinter Health:
At Sprinter Health, our mission is reimagining how people access care by bringing it directly to their homes. Nearly 30% of patients in the U.S. skip preventive or chronic care simply because they can’t get to a doctor’s office. For many, the ER becomes their first touchpoint with the healthcare system—driving over $300B in avoidable costs every year.
By using the same technologies that power leading marketplace and last-mile platforms, we deliver care where people are, especially those who need it most. So far, we’ve supported more than 2 million patients across 22 states, completed 130,000+ in-home visits, and maintained a 92 NPS. Our team of clinicians, technologists, and operators have raised over $125M to date investors like a16z, General Catalyst, GV, and Accel and enjoy multi-year runway.
About The Role:
As a Staff Product Manager, AI Clinical Tools, your true north star will be to increase patient access to Sprinter Health services by building the ultimate AI JARVIS suit for our clinicians at the point of care.
The complexity of delivering untethered care combined with our rich technology foundation, the deep data asset stemming from hundreds of thousands of annual patient encounters and millions of annual patient engagement touchpoints, and our own proprietary set of AI models create the ultimate sandbox for an ambitious product leader to build to impact in this role.
Our mission requires inventing the operating layer for care delivery that is omnimodal, always-on, and highly impactful. We're searching for a product leader who can spearhead this ambitious mission on top of a strong base of AI-enabled clinical tools for our Sprinters (in-home front line clinicians), nurse practitioners, and other clinicians.
This role will work hand-in-hand with our Chief Scientist and our internal AI research lab (Sprinter Labs) to refine our proprietary models as well as our front-line clinicians to help give them superpowers at the point of care.
Some problems you will get to work on:
Pushing the frontier of omnimodal, always-on care: Our core routing and care delivery engines enable us to drive modular construction of care pathways to meet a broad range of patient needs. You will own the tooling to support efficient, impactful, delightful clinician workflows.
Developing our AI-native Care Console: We’re building the best-in-class clinician cockpit for both our in-home Sprinters and our virtual clinicians. The sky is the limit on what we can do here, and you will own both big picture vision and execution.
Embedding agentic next-best-action flows at the point of care: We’ve built an AI orchestration system to drive longitudinal steps in care, and you will have the chance to bring that even more upstream into clinical workflows. Imagine a world where all of the steps in your care plan were already taken care of before you even wrap up the appointment!
Translating proprietary foundation models into clinical impact: The combination of our logistics, engagement, clinical, and consumer data asset across millions of patients has enabled us to develop our own proprietary AI foundation models for predicting clinical events through our AI research lab (Sprinter Labs). You will work closely with our Sprinter Labs teams to translate that to impact across all of our clinical tooling surfaces.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable at the strategic level (owning multi-year vision + roadmap), energized by having hands-on optimization levers across some of the most important drivers of patient impact and business performance.
There’s no ceiling for impact or growth in this role and there are additional leadership and management opportunities depending on experience level.
Office Location:
We are a hybrid company based in the Bay Area with offices in both San Francisco & Menlo Park. We care about work-life balance, and understand that there will be times where flexibility is needed.
What you have done:
Proven track record: 7+ years of product management experience, with a strong background in AI-driven product development or clinical tooling.
AI-native experience and deep intellectual curiosity: Experience deploying AI products, automation, or machine learning-driven solutions in healthcare, logistics, or operations-heavy environments.
Operational mindset: Ability to understand and optimize workflows across complex clinical workflows while balancing tech-enablement, patient impact, and clinician satisfaction.
Experimentation DNA: Track record of robust experimentation and data-driven product development at the 1-to-n scale.
Culture carrier: Preferred development and growth path is by ambitiously setting vision, prioritizing, and driving impact as a team with a true north centered on patient impact. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and scrub-in across team needs, even when they sit outside of your role description or job title.
Bonus points if you have:
Startup experience, especially those that have gone through rapid growth.
AI side projects.
A favorite Lord of the Rings character.
What you will do:
AI clinical tooling vision, strategy, and roadmap: Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for automation across Sprinter Health’s technology and operations stack, increasing patient access and operational efficiency.
Full stack AI product development: From foundation model translation to agentic flow orchestration to point of care decision support to monitoring and evaluation, this role will have the mandate of shipping impactful, observable, and ambitious AI products.
Broad stakeholder engagement: Interface with a broad range of stakeholders from patients and front-line Sprinters to cross-functional and leadership team members to executive sponsors at our partner clients. Support partner needs around engagement and reporting.
Team leadership: At baseline, you will be expected to be an internal domain expert on AI and clinical tooling. For the right candidates at the right level of experience, there will also be near-term team leadership opportunities. We have experience-matched career path options that span both increasingly complex individual contributor work and management.
