PERSUIT is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager / Lead Developer to lead our talented engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the technical direction and delivering high-quality software solutions that empower legal teams to collaborate efficiently. You will lead and mentor engineers, drive best practices, and work closely with product and design teams to build innovative features and scalable systems.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Drive the technical architecture and ensure alignment with company goals
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver product features
- Oversee code quality, testing, and deployment best practices
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize engineering productivity
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of engineering talent
- Manage project timelines, resources, and priorities to deliver impactful solutions
Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of software development experience with a strong technical background
- Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams
- Expertise in modern software development practices, tools, and frameworks
- Strong knowledge of scalable architecture, cloud services, and best coding practices
- Experience working in agile environments and delivering SaaS products
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Passion for mentoring and developing engineers
- Experience in legal tech or related domain is a plus
