Summary: The ERP Data Analyst supports and optimizes the JobBoss -> Epicor ERP system migration within an aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining data integrity, developing reports and dashboards, and providing actionable insights to operational teams. The analyst partners closely with IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing to improve system utilization and enable data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing knowledge and understands aerospace compliance requirements.
### Key Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert for Epicor ERP data structures, system architecture, tables, and core business processes, ensuring alignment with operational workflows.
Maintain and proactively monitor data integrity across Manufacturing, Inventory, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Engineering modules, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
Support and troubleshoot ERP transactions related to work orders, routings, bills of materials (BOMs), labor reporting, inventory movements, purchasing activities, and product costing.
Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies by performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Develop, maintain, and automate Epicor BAQs, dashboards, reports, and KPIs to improve visibility into operational and financial performance.
Provide accurate and timely operational, financial, and executive-level reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Analyze production performance metrics including scrap, rework, labor efficiency, inventory accuracy, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery performance.
Fulfill ad hoc data requests and conduct detailed analytical reviews to support business initiatives, audits, and leadership inquiries.
Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and Quality teams to understand reporting needs and translate business requirements into scalable ERP data solutions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging trend analysis, performance metrics, and data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Assist with ERP upgrades, system enhancements, configuration changes, testing, and user acceptance activities to ensure seamless system performance and adoption.
Ensure ERP data structure and reporting practices support aerospace compliance requirements (AS9100, ITAR, DFARS, as applicable).
Develop and maintain clear documentation for data standards, reporting logic, ERP workflows, and system procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer.
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate, complete, and traceable ERP data and documentation as required.
### Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of Epicor ERP (Kinetic preferred) data analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (work orders, BOMs, routings, inventory, labor tracking)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling)
Experience developing BAQs, dashboards, and reports within Epicor
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Must be a US person.
### Preferred Qualifications
Aerospace or other regulated manufacturing experience
Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, SSRS, or similar tools
Experience supporting ERP implementations or major system upgrades
Understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and manufacturing KPIs
Familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, or government contract reporting

Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via email

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes
