Job Description

Reporting to our Regional Controller, we are looking for a Financial Planning Manager to improve the revenue operations process, support the vision for the revenue operations team, provide support in meeting our objectives, and be an advocate for process improvement.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Revenue recognition across a portfolio of products, clients, and services

• Deliver accurate revenue results

• Report and trend analysis for a portfolio of products, clients, and services

• Client Project set-up including contract analysis

• Document process guides

• Work with the finance team to determine applicable IFRS standards, inclusive of training material for finance

• Support audits on existing processes, identifying risk areas, and assisting with resolving challenges

• Identify revenue engagements that do not align with Jellyfish's commercial framework

• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the revenue operations process

• Support the General Ledger team with Month End revenue & net revenue reconcilations and resolving queries

• Support the Accounts Payable team with cost-of-sale reconciliations, ensuring all cost of sales are correctly recorded

• Work with Accounts receivable to assist with client account reconciliations, ensuring revenue and billing information is accurate and aligning to contract commercials/payment milestones

• Support the FP&A team with the reporting of client revenue and net revenue on a monthly basis

• Provide guidance to other teams outside of the finance team on revenue-related matters

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in revenue operations, finance, or a related field

• Excellent knowledge of revenue recognition accounting standards and procedures

• AAT Level 2 / 3 or equivalent

• Ability to prioritise to ensure deadlines are met throughout the month-end timetable

• You'll be a whizz at using data and market insights to inform decisions and develop business strategies.
