ORGANIZATION SUMMARY

POSITION SUMMARY:
World Relief seeks a Family Case Management Program Manager. This position is responsible for the oversight of the family case management team in Chicago to ensure quality programing and service delivery, including compliance with agency, community, and funder standards. This includes oversight of staff providing medical case management, high needs and crisis case management, and case management for refugee seniors. This role includes staff and intern supervision, program implementation, interdepartmental collaboration, and coordination of services to immigrants having been in the United States greater than six months.
### ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is responsible for supervising others and includes responsibilities consistent with supervising employees, including but not limited to monitoring daily work activities, tracking and approving timesheets including approving time off, monitoring performance including entering goals, progress check-ins, and weekly or bi-weekly check-ins, documenting performance concerns, entering staff promotions, transitions, and separations in HRIS within required time frame. Managers at World Relief are also considered spiritual leaders and are expected to lead staff in a manner consistent with our Christian values, including but not limited to praying with staff, leading devotionals, and fostering a Christian environment in interactions with staff throughout World Relief.
Hire, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate family case management staff.
Lead staff in setting appropriate individual and team goals and objectives.
Provide and/or facilitate personal and professional development opportunities.
Develop structures for staff support and care.
Work collaboratively with the Immigrant Family Services Director to identify program needs and establish clear and measurable objectives and goals to demonstrate how needs are met.
Meet with staff for case consultation and to address client concerns and challenges and meet with clients when necessary to provide clarity on policy.
Participate with other program staff in regular case briefing meetings to monitor client progress, adjust case plans, and effectively address the needs of clients.
Collaborate interdepartmentally on holistic service provision to program participants.
Develop and review client service systems and tools to ensure quality and holistic service provision.
Coordinate and delegate client referrals to FCM case workers.
Oversee the completion of all required family case management services in compliance with program requirements.
Regularly review case documentation to ensure appropriate and timely service delivery.
In conjunction with finance staff & IFS Director, monitor program budgets and other program expenses.
Collaborate with other managers towards client feedback informing service provision and that adjustments are made based on that feedback. This will include developing structures for soliciting formal client feedback regarding service provision, including feedback from refugee and immigrant community leaders on a regular basis.
Communicate regularly with the Immigrant Family Services Director, and the Chicagoland Management Team, and transmit appropriate information from those communications between the case management team and the IFS Director, including support needs of the team and critical client situations.
In conjunction and coordination with other program leadership, represent World Relief Chicagoland to governmental agencies and service providers.
Participate in virtual meetings and regular communication with World Relief’s Home Office.
Develop and maintain relationships with organizations in the community that serve WRC clients and the broader immigrant community, and collaborate with other organizations on initiatives that celebrate, uplift, and support immigrants.
Collaborate with other World Relief staff and teams to facilitate events that promote community-building among clients and staff.
Provide for or delegate the interviewing, delegating, and onboarding of interns to support the work of the FCM team.
Advocate on behalf of refugee and immigrant families when necessary.
Promote timely communication with volunteers and churches involved with refugee and immigrant families, in coordination with Volunteer Coordinators.
Provide direct service support, as needed.

Experience and/or training in working with traumatized populations or trauma informed care.
Knowledge of the immigrant experience;
Background in refugee resettlement or immigrant service provision;
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Access)
Valid Driver’s License, successful completion of MVR background check, and willingness to for client appointments or other needs, and to external meetings as needed.
