šŸ” What will you be doing?

Lead AI enablement across Primer
Act as the senior connective tissue between AI and every function, identifying where AI can materially improve how teams operate.

Drive adoption through leaders, not around them
Partner with functional leaders to identify high-impact AI opportunities, set priorities, and hold teams accountable for adoption and outcomes.

Scale AI-powered ways of working
Coach teams to design and implement their own AI workflows, building internal capability rather than creating dependency.

Own Claude adoption and AI knowledge-sharing
Drive usage, training, best practice, and a shared library of prompts, skills, workflows, and reusable context.

Maximise value from Primer’s AI tooling
Stay close to our existing stack, surface relevant AI capabilities, and ensure teams use the tools we already pay for effectively.

Keep Primer ahead of the curve
Track the AI landscape, evaluate what matters, and make clear recommendations on what to adopt, pilot, or ignore.

Shape and execute Primer’s AI strategy
Turn business needs into practical AI initiatives, secure senior alignment, and drive delivery through cross-functional execution.

Scale AI responsibly
Partner with Security and relevant leaders to ensure AI adoption is safe, ethical, compliant, and aligned with Primer’s values.

Build lasting AI literacy
Create self-serve infrastructure for onboarding, training, use cases, tools, and learnings so AI capability compounds over time.

Measure business impact
Define and report on the metrics that matter: time saved, quality gains, productivity, customer impact, and ROI.

šŸ‘€ What we'd love to see:

3-6 years of relevant experience
Experience in AI enablement, operations, transformation, change management, strategy, or a high-growth technology environment.

Deep, practical AI fluency
You use AI tools daily, have strong opinions on where they create value, and can translate that expertise into scalable business adoption.

Proven change leadership
You have successfully shifted how teams work through enablement, structured rollout, stakeholder engagement, and clear accountability.

Executive-level stakeholder management
You can influence credibly from ICs to C-suite, challenge leaders constructively, and turn ambiguity into aligned action.

High-agency coaching mindset
You build capability in others, create repeatable systems, and know when to coach, co-build, push, or escalate.

Structured, analytical thinking
You diagnose problems clearly, evaluate trade-offs, build evidence-based recommendations, and measure outcomes rigorously.

High ambition and bias for action
You move fast, experiment intelligently, raise the bar, and bring energy to helping Primer work differently.

Nice to have

Prompt engineering expertise
A structured approach to prompt design, refinement, and teaching others how to improve AI outputs.

BI or data tooling experience
Familiarity with Omni, Looker, or similar tools, especially for AI-assisted querying and workflow optimisation.

B2B SaaS, fintech, or payments context
Experience in environments similar to Primer’s operating model, customer base, and product complexity.

Programme management experience
Ability to run multiple workstreams, manage senior stakeholders, and deliver measurable outcomes with limited oversight.
