A family based in Prilly is seeking a reliable and practical Maintenance, Grounds & Handyman Assistant to support the upkeep of their property. This is a hands-on, outdoor and maintenance-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys varied physical work and takes pride in keeping a property in excellent condition.

Salary: CHF 25/hour gross

Schedule:

Monday: 09:00 – 17:00
Wednesday: 09:00 – 13:00
Friday: 09:00 – 17:00

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a large private garden, including lawn care, pruning, planting, and seasonal upkeep
Keep all outdoor areas, pathways, and garden spaces tidy, safe, and well-presented
Assist with swimming pool upkeep, including surrounding area maintenance
Carry out general handyman tasks and minor repairs across outdoor areas and property features
Maintain outdoor equipment and ensure tools and storage areas are organised and in good working order
Identify and report larger maintenance issues requiring specialist attention
Provide occasional airport driving support for family members

Please note that no housekeeping duties are required, as these are managed separately. The role suits someone practical, self-sufficient, and comfortable maintaining a large property to a high standard.

Requirements

Valid Swiss / EU Passport or Swiss work permit
Experience in gardening, maintenance, or handyman work
Strong practical and repair skills with a proactive approach
Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Valid driving licence and confident driving ability
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
