We are looking for a Night Porter that can support the hotels overnight team by working when most people's days are coming to an end! As your title implies, you’ll be working through the night and into the morning, usually between the hours of 9:30pm and 7am as required. As the hotel is open 24 hours a day, the type of customer you’ll be dealing with may differ from those that you normally see at 3pm. They won’t all be sober, and many may well be in their pyjamas...

This position is a part time position covering 16 hours per week over any 7 days (minimum 8 hours per shift). No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.

As Night Porter your key responsibilities include:

·         Dealing with guests’ queries in a professional manner

·         Ensuring that public areas & dining areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness

·         Assisting with some reception duties as required

·         Delivering Room Service & supporting with the hotels Bar Service

·         Setting up conference rooms and other food and beverage areas for the days service

·         Assisting the duty manager in all departments as required

What we are looking for:

·         Previous experience in a quality hotel

·         Experience of Night shift

·         Excellent communications skills

·         The ability to work well under pressure with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude

·         Excellent customer service skills
