Vultr is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Senior People Business Partner to support organizational effectiveness, manager capability, and employee engagement across a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, partnering closely with the business to strengthen team performance, enhance organizational effectiveness, and guide key people-related decisions. You will play a critical role in helping leaders scale their teams effectively while fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and engaging culture.
The ideal candidate brings strong business partnership experience, sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity. You are highly collaborative, operationally strong, and comfortable balancing strategic advisory work with hands-on execution.
As a key member of the People Business Partner team, you will work closely with leadership, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations to support a seamless employee experience and ensure consistent application of people programs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership & Organizational Effectiveness
Serve as a trusted People Business Partner to assigned business groups, building strong relationships with leaders and employees across the organization
Partner with leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, team effectiveness, and role clarity
Coach managers on performance management, feedback, communication, and team leadership effectiveness
Support leaders in driving accountability, performance outcomes, and consistent application of people practices
Provide guidance on people-related decisions including promotions, role changes, performance actions, and terminations from a business effectiveness perspective
Employee Relations & Manager Support
Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, issue resolution, and risk assessment, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
Partner with leaders to identify and address organizational risks, engagement challenges, and team dynamics issues
Support conflict resolution and facilitate constructive conversations between managers and employees
Ensure consistent application of company policies in partnership with People Operations
Talent Management & Employee Experience
Support performance management processes, talent reviews, and succession planning initiatives
Partner with leadership and People Operations to strengthen employee engagement and organizational health
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and onboarding teams to ensure a strong candidate and new hire experience
Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of scalable people programs and practices
Insights, Communication & Cross-Functional Partnership
Leverage People data and trends to identify insights, risks, and opportunities and translate them into actionable recommendations
Partner with People Operations on compliance-related matters and ensure consistent application of policies within the business
Collaborate cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and People Operations to support organizational initiatives
Support change management and communication efforts during periods of growth and transformation
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, HR Business Partnering, People Operations, or a related role
Experience supporting managers and employees in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Strong employee relations experience, including investigations, conflict resolution, performance management, and manager coaching
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence leaders across all levels of the organization
Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law fundamentals
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consulting skills
Strong judgment, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a dynamic environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into recommendations
High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred
Experience supporting distributed or remote teams
Experience in a technology or high-growth environment preferred
Compensation
$110,000 - $125,000
This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
