Production Shift Superintendent - Offshore PA-d2m-381

We are seeking an experienced Production Shift Superintendent to oversee offshore production operations and ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of LNG facilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in shift operations management, cross-functional coordination, and maintaining the highest HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the production facilities;
• Achieve production targets in terms of productivity, efficiency, availability, and operational performance;
• Coordinate with upstream operations teams to maintain the gas feed supply required to maximize LNG production;
• Participate in and supervise export vessel loading activities to ensure safe and efficient operations;
• Review and improve operating procedures to ensure their proper implementation by shift teams;
• Prepare shift reports detailing production performance and operational activities;
• Ensure shift teams are adequately staffed with competent personnel at all times;
• Coordinate with the maintenance department to minimize plant downtime and ensure the availability of critical equipment;
• Participate in the planning and execution of production shutdown activities;
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE procedures;
• Act as Approval Authority for Permit to Work (PTW) activities;
• Conduct emergency drills and ensure personnel readiness for emergency response;
• Provide operational training and coaching to shift personnel in line with company competency standards;
• Perform any additional duties required by operational needs and business requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Gas Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related scientific discipline from an accredited university;
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry;
• At least 10 years of LNG operations experience;
• Minimum 6 years in a supervisory or managerial role;
• Strong leadership, emergency response, and team coordination skills;
• Excellent knowledge of offshore operations and HSE standards.
