Short-Term Nanny - Edmonds, WA

A family in Edmonds, WA 98026 is seeking a reliable and nurturing caregiver for their infant (turning 1 year old soon). This is a short-term position ideal for someone with strong childcare experience who can provide attentive care while supporting daily routines and light household tasks.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Some flexibility appreciated)

Short-term: Immediate start through the end of August

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• Household includes a friendly dog

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive care for the child, including diapering, feeding, and developmental play
• Maintain daily routines and ensure a safe, nurturing environment
• Keep a log of child’s activities (feeding, sleep, diaper changes)
• Perform light baby-related housekeeping (child’s laundry, bottle cleaning)
• Assist with light household tasks, primarily kitchen cleaning

Requirements:

• Experience caring for infants/toddlers
• Strong communication skills and reliability
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable working in a home with a dog
• Background in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certification a plus!

Compensation:

• $25-30 per hour (commensurate with experience)
