Part Time Mothers Helper- Arlington, VA

A family in Arlington, VA 22205 is seeking an experienced and compassionate Mother’s Helper to assist with home duties and occasional childcare for their 2 year old and 6 year old.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• 11am-3pm
• Start date: June 2026

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home

Responsibilities:

• Maintain grocery, supply, and household task lists
• Run errands and purchase groceries
• Tidying of the home including vacuuming, cleaning surfaces, changing sheets, and putting items away in their expected areas
• Prepare family meals and assist with meal prep
• Pack lunches and snacks
• Wash dishes, manage dishwasher, keep kitchen tidy
• Laundry including ironing and managing dry cleaning
• Mother’s helper support/babysitting on occasion
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Previous childcare experience

Compensation:

• $35–$40 per hour (commensurate with experience)
