Child Caregiver/Nanny – Watertown, MA 02472

A family in Watertown, MA 02472 is seeking a reliable, experienced, and nurturing private nanny to care for their infant. The ideal candidate will be warm, attentive, and confident supporting early developmental milestones in a structured and safe environment.

Schedule:

• Tuesday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (24 hours/week)
• Start Date: As soon as possible

Family Specifications:

• Smoke free home
• Therapy dog in the household
• Parking available; public transportation accessible nearby (bus route 71)

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, hands-on care for an infant
• Feeding, diapering, and supporting daily routines
• Engage in developmentally appropriate play and activities including outdoor walks
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment
• Light baby-related housekeeping (laundry, bottle cleaning, baby food prep, tidying baby spaces, organizing diaper bags)
• Support general organization of infant-related areas

Requirements:

• Experience caring for infants required
• Must have experience with baby-led weaning
• CPR/First Aid certification required
• Reliable, punctual, and attentive caregiving style
• Comfortable in a home with a dog
• Reliable transportation required (vehicle not required)
• Experience with infant feeding, baby food preparation, and water safety preferred

Compensation:

• $27–$30/hour depending on experience
• 6 PTO days per year
• $200 annual reimbursement for childcare-related education or training
