The Role
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Test Automation Engineer to join our DevOps and Quality Engineering team.
This role will focus on building, maintaining, and executing automated test solutions that support our engineering teams. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to help ensure high-quality, scalable software delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid automation experience who is looking to deepen their technical expertise and grow towards a senior or specialist role.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites across multiple systems and services
Contribute to the evolution of test automation frameworks and tooling
Execute automated and manual tests as required to validate features and releases
Investigate and troubleshoot test failures, identifying root causes and working with engineering teams on fixes
Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and quality are embedded early in the development lifecycle
Support integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
Contribute to quality metrics and reporting, helping improve visibility of test outcomes
Ensure best practices in test automation are followed across the team
Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
3–5 years’ experience in software testing or test automation
Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar)
Experience working with programming languages including .Net/C#/C++
Performance Testing experience, including Load and Stress testing
Understanding of API testing and test automation strategies
Experience working within Agile / Scrum environments
Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
Exposure to performance or security testing tools
Familiarity with telecoms, IoT, or connected device ecosystems
New hires at Cubic³ are required to work onsite five days a week during their six-month probation period to get to know the company, their team, and our ways of working.
