What's the Short Version?

The Marketing Operations Specialist plays a critical role in enabling efficient, scalable, and data-driven marketing execution. This role supports the day-to-day administration, optimization, and ongoing use of marketing work management platforms such as Workfront and Smartsheet, ensuring strong system hygiene, reliable automation, and a seamless user experience.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Support daily administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting in Workfront and Smartsheet, including access management, automations, user administration, and overall system hygiene.
  • Maintain the marketing request intake queue, partnering with teams to communicate resource availability, timelines, and routing.
  • Assist with AI tool research, adoption, and administration across new and existing tools.
  • Provide operational support for new use cases and functionality, including creating templates and setting up workspaces.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to analyze data and help develop reports and dashboards to improve team efficiency.
  • Support onboarding activities, including cohort training and documentation.
  • Assist with process discovery, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide cross-functional support for marketing portfolio and roadmap tracking, including status updates and communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field
  • 1-3 years experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Technology, Business Operations, or a related role
  • Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and analytical skills
  • Curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond constructively to feedback
  • Positive team player who contributes to a collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $25.00 - $34.65 on an hourly basis, depending on experience.

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 5% of base salary.

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Hybrid: SanMar's Eastpointe office is located in Issaquah, WA in the Seattle metropolitan area. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
