Head of ARIP / Platform Lead - CP Axtra

Accountable end-to-end leader for the Axtra Retail Intelligence Platform (ARIP) — strategy, roadmap, 22-FTE team build, DEAA partnership, governance, and commercial outcomes across 5 product suites and 15 named agents on a ฿45–60M build budget. The most consequential leadership hire in the 2026 DT programme; every other ARIP role's success depends on this one being filled well and early.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own ARIP platform roadmap end-to-end — wave sequencing (W1 pre-Oct 2026 through W4 Oct 2027+), suite prioritisation, and ROI tracking against ฿45–60M build budget
• Resolve all open ARIP architectural decisions (D-003 to D-029) on documented timelines; chair Architecture Review Board (fortnightly) and ARIP Steering Committee (monthly)
• Lead Phase A–C recruitment: 3 Tech Leads (Phase A), 8 ICs (Phase B), 7 specialists (Phase C) across the 22-FTE steady-state plan
• Own ARIP–DEAA interface day-to-day — KGIP consumption, LLM Gateway service contracts, joint Data Engineer allocation
• Drive Wave 2 Supplier Suite delivery (Oct 2026–Mar 2027) with a ฿20M Y1 rebate-uplift target; cascade Wave 3 RetailOps + S5 MVP (Apr–Sep 2027) and Wave 4 Commerce (Oct 2027+)
• Chair Agent Review Board (fortnightly), Cost Review (monthly), Platform Leads Sync (weekly); present quarterly business review to CFO + CTDOs

Requirements

• 12+ years in software / data / AI engineering; 5+ years in Director / VP / Head role with P&L accountability and 20+ FTE team builds
• Shipped AI-native products at scale — agentic systems, ML platforms, or decisioning engines — with evidenced commercial outcomes, not just demos
• Strong technical depth in at least one: agent runtimes (LangGraph / CrewAI), LLM platforms, classical ML deployment at scale, lakehouse architectures
• Programme governance: chaired steering committees, presented to C-suite and Group board, managed ฿100M+ capital budgets
• Retail / commerce domain fluency preferred; transferable from regulated multi-stakeholder vertical (banking, telecom, healthcare)
• Calibre: Head of Platform / Director of AI Products from Agoda, Grab, Shopee, SCBX, KBank, True Digital, or comparable ASEAN AI-native platform
