Test Lab Stockroom Clerk

The Test Lab Stockroom Clerk organizes and maintains the engineering test lab stockroom.  This individual also maintains the inventory database to accurately reflect the inventory position of all materials.  Judgment and initiative are exercised frequently in applying stockroom policies and procedures.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process the stocking and dispersing of the test lab stockroom materials and supplies
• Organize the test lab stockroom in a logical manner such that materials are stored and protected
• Ensure that materials are properly identified and quantities are correct
• Print product labels and tag units
• Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts of all materials and equipment
• Update and maintain inventory database for inventory quantities, receipts and issues
• Distribute and track loaned equipment
• Place orders for units as needed
• Deliver and pick up packages between multiple buildings
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Planning departments to prioritize daily requirements as needed
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications and/or Education:

• 2-5 years of experience working in a stockroom or inventory control role
• 1+ years of experience in an electronic environment
• Basic knowledge of electro-mechanical products
• Experience with inventory database
• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Prior experience working in an AS9100 certified facility
• Excellent communication skills with focus on customer service
• Working knowledge of computer programs

Benefits

The starting pay range for this position is $23 - $25 per hour however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
