Role Summary
The QA/QC Manager shall have full responsibility and authority for managing, implementing, and enforcing all Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements on the Project. Given that the Construction Supervision Consultant scope contractually sits with the Contractor, this role is critical in safeguarding the Client’s interests by ensuring all works, materials, testing, inspections, and installations fully comply with contract requirements, approved design, Saudi Building Code (SBC), and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Implement and manage the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP).
· Enforce Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and inspection hold points.
· Ensure all inspections, tests, and certifications are completed and approved prior to activity closure.
· Verify all materials comply with approved specifications and submittals.
· Ensure full compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and regulatory requirements.
· Monitor workmanship quality across civil, architectural, MEP, and modular works.
· Issue, manage, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
· Mandatory use of Aconex for QA/QC documentation and approvals.
· Mandatory working knowledge of CAD for drawing review and discrepancy identification.
· Lead and manage QA/QC inspectors and interface with Contractor QA/QC teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, or related discipline).
Minimum 10–15 years QA/QC experience on building projects.
Mandatory experience in Civil & Architectural works.
Aconex and CAD experience is mandatory.
ISO 9001 or Quality certification preferred.
