Talarico for Texas is hiring a Scheduling Manager to join James Talarico’s US Senate campaign. This is a full-time, paid position.

About You:

  • Dedicated to Democratic politics and ready to help elect James Talarico to the US Senate
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle more than one project at once, along with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with a team under tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment

Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming invitations and scheduling requests through Asana in coordination with the Scheduling team.
  • Ensure schedule details are accurate, including confirmation of locations, staff assignments, and preparatory materials.
  • Perform administrative support tasks for the Scheduling Director.
  • Provide ad-hoc logistical and project management support to the Candidate’s schedule.

Requirements

Strong Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. 
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and exercise sound judgment. 
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion. 
  • A friendly, professional, and collaborative demeanor when interacting with principals, stakeholders and staff alike.
  • Due to the variability of the Campaign schedule, the ability to work long and unscheduled hours, including nights and weekends, on a very regular basis.

Benefits

Reports to: Scheduling Director

Location: Austin, Texas (moderate travel expected)

Salary: $6,000-$7,000 per month

Benefits: Health care, paid time off, sick leave
