SOKOL GxP Services is seeking a Production – Supply Chain Planner to support supply planning operations within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role supports both internal and external manufacturing sites and helps ensure alignment between customer demand, inventory strategy, and operational efficiency.
The Supply Chain Planner will collaborate with supply sites, logistics teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to support supply continuity, manage inventory risks, and maintain accurate planning data within ERP systems.
Requirements
- Develop and manage supply plans for materials and product portfolios
- Coordinate with internal and external manufacturing sites to support customer demand and operational efficiency
- Maintain inventory accuracy and support purchase order management for drug substance, drug product, and finished goods
- Monitor demand changes and adjust planning activities and production schedules accordingly
- Identify and communicate supply risks, shortages, excess inventory, and operational constraints
- Support inventory investigations related to regulatory or artwork changes
- Participate in supply chain meetings and collaborate with global and local stakeholders
- Track and report key supply chain metrics including inventory compliance, PO accuracy, and backorders
- Support monthly and quarterly stock reviews, forecasting activities, and root cause analysis
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and support new product introductions and clinical supply requests
- Ensure master data is accurately maintained and continuously updated
- Utilize ERP and planning systems including SAP and related supply planning tools
- Support data analysis and reporting activities using Excel and BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Biotechnology, Science, or related field required
- Minimum 4 years of supply chain management experience, preferably within pharmaceutical or global manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, inventory management, and planning workflows
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP; Rapid Response experience preferred
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements including cGMP, FDA, and EMA environments preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines
- APICS or related certification preferred
Benefits
Competitive hourly rate: $31.50 – $34.
