IBMC is assisting a premier and rapidly growing international Lifestyle & F&B Brand Group in hiring a strategic F&B General Manager for their expansion in Indonesia. Headquartered in Singapore with a dominant presence across Southeast Asia, our client operates a diverse portfolio of on-trend concepts spanning premium F&B, Beauty, Wellness, and Retail. This role is a critical leadership position designed to spearhead the operational deployment and scaling of their multi-outlet F&B brands locally.

We are seeking a highly motivated, high-performance F&B General Manager to lead and oversee our multi-outlet food and beverage operations in Indonesia. You will be a strategic yet hands-on executive responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving maximum profitability, and maintaining flawless brand standards across all locations. This role demands a seasoned leader who can manage complex P&L frameworks while simultaneously coaching site managers to deliver world-class guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Multi-Outlet Oversight: Direct and optimize daily operations across multiple food and beverage outlets to ensure consistent, high-quality execution.
  • Financial Mastery: Own the operational budget, financial planning, and rigorous cost-control measures (COGS and labor costs) to maximize bottom-line profitability.
  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute localized operational strategies to accelerate revenue growth, outlet performance, and market penetration.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and build high-performing outlet managers and operations teams, establishing a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Supply Chain & Inventory: Monitor procurement processes, optimize inventory management, and evaluate supplier performance to secure the best cost-efficiency.
  • Compliance & Audits: Ensure 100% compliance with Indonesian food safety, sanitation, licensing, and manpower regulations.
  • Commercial Innovation: Partner with internal departments to identify opportunities for menu development, cross-brand promotions, and localized service enhancements.
  • Executive Reporting: Analyze sales data, market trends, and operational metrics to prepare transparent performance reports for regional senior management.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in the F&B or hospitality industry, with at least 3 years specifically in a General Manager or multi-unit senior leadership capacity.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep, proven understanding of the Indonesian F&B landscape, operational logistics, and local consumer trends.
  • Financial Acumen: Advanced experience in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and labor/food cost optimization.
  • Language Skills: Professional fluency in English is mandatory for regional reporting. The ability to speak Mandarin or Korean is a significant advantage.
  • Leadership Style: A powerful mix of strategic vision and a "hands-on" floor presence. Excellent crisis-management and problem-solving skills.
