Our client URGENTLY requires multiple Senior Project Managers and Project Managers - Rail for 12 months + Contracts in Brisbane and Sunshine Coast.
The Senior Project Managers and Project Managers - Rail will provide on-the-ground support across major rail works packages (Brownfield and/or Greenfield Projects). Each will work closely with their respective project teams to review and provide commentary on design documentation and management plans. Their responsibilities include attending site inspections, liaising with contractors, participating in construction, safety, and quality forums, and assisting commercial teams. Ultimately, supporting package contractors to resolve issues and maintain a best for program approach.
Skills and Experience required includes:
- For Senior Project Managers, Extensive experience of 10+ years in project management for major projects (>$500 million), with proven experience in successful delivery of complex rail projects
- For Project Managers, Extensive experience of 5+ years in project management for major projects (>$500 million), with proven experience in successful delivery of complex rail projects
- Knowledge of railway operational requirements, standards and regulations
- Rail Industry Worker (RIW) or ability to obtain within 2 months of appointment
- Relevant professional qualifications such as bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field or demonstrable experience in similar field
Government funded projects (client or contractor side) experience would be highly advantageous.
