Vice President / Director of Education

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive educational strategies aligned with the company’s goals within the machinery industry.
• Lead the design and delivery of tailored training programs to enhance technical skills and professional development for employees and clients.
• Collaborate with internal departments to assess training needs and measure program effectiveness continuously.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with educational institutions, industry organizations, and vendors to expand learning opportunities.
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and administrative functions related to the education department.
• Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies and methodologies into curriculum development and training delivery.
• Mentor and manage a team of education professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all education and training activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in educational leadership, preferably within the machinery or industrial sector.
• Proven ability to develop and implement large-scale training and workforce development initiatives.
• Strong understanding of machinery industry standards, technologies, and workforce requirements.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated success in building partnerships with external educational and industry organizations.
• Ability to manage budgets and operational aspects of an education department effectively.
• Familiarity with modern instructional design techniques, e-learning platforms, and emerging educational technologies.
