As a Consultant Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for delivering timely and effective treatment for acute pediatric emergencies, overseeing emergency department operations, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care. Your role will also encompass mentoring junior staff and contributing to clinical protocols and quality improvement activities within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert emergency medical care to pediatric patients presenting with urgent and life-threatening conditions.
• Conduct rapid assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of treatment plans in the pediatric emergency department.
• Lead and supervise junior doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals in the emergency setting.
• Develop, implement, and review clinical guidelines and protocols for pediatric emergency care.
• Participate actively in hospital committees and quality improvement programs.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Engage in continuous professional development and foster academic growth in pediatric emergency medicine.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Consultant Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician, preferably within government hospitals or public healthcare facilities
• Strong clinical skills in pediatric emergency assessment and management
