About Noon

Noon is on a mission to reinvent how designers work in the AI era. We’re backed by top investors including First Round, Chemistry, Homebrew, Scribble and senior leaders from OpenAI, Meta, Google, Ramp, Stripe and more. We’re building the next-generation AI design tool for product teams.

About the Role

We're looking for a customer facing Design Engineer who sits at the intersection of our GTM and product team. This isn't a traditional Design Engineer or Sales Engineer role, you'll be equal parts technical advisor, prototyper, and translator, helping prospective customers understand what's possible while working closely with our internal design and engineering teams to productize feedback.

What You'll Do

  • Support the early user process by partnering with GTM on discovery calls, demos, and technical evaluations, bringing a design-native perspective to every conversation

  • Be the primary design and technical resource for Noon's pilot users, leading discovery, running proofs of concept, and ensuring they experience the full value of what Noon makes possible

  • Build prototypes and demos tailored to prospect needs, showcasing how our product solves their specific challenges

  • Run advisory working sessions to understand each team's tools, workflows, and constraints, then guide them on best practices for getting the most out of Noon

  • Bridge design and engineering by translating customer requirements into clear, actionable briefs that internal teams can execute against

  • Run workshops and presentations with prospective clients to uncover needs, demonstrate capabilities, and build confidence in our solution

  • Feed insights back into the product. Act as the customer's internal advocate at Noon synthesizing patterns from pilot feedback into clear, prioritized insights for product and engineering

  • Support smooth user onboarding by ensuring what's promised during the pilot translates cleanly into long-term workflows

What We're Looking For

  • 5–7 years of experience in a design, frontend, or hybrid design/engineering role

  • Strong prototyping skills, you're comfortable in design tools, and can also write code (React, HTML/CSS)

  • Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders in a consultative capacity

  • Clear, confident communicator who can adapt their language for both design-minded and technical audiences

  • Comfort with ambiguity. You can scope a demo from a rough brief and make smart tradeoffs under time pressure

Benefits

  • Salary: $200,000-$300,000 base salary

  • Equity: Meaningful stock options

  • Health Insurance: Best-in-class coverage for the employee and their entire family

  • Location: San Francisco HQ
