Goods Handling and Facility Maintenance

This position is primarily responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse in an accurate and timely manner. This position is also responsible for maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and supplies. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry; electrical; heating, ventilation, and simple plumbing, etc.).

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in goods handling or warehouse operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of facility maintenance tasks (cleaning, minor repairs, equipment upkeep).
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification is a plus).
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy items.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Basic mechanical or electrical skills.
