Help shape the future of AI in Brazil!

We are building a next‑generation benchmark to evaluate how well AI systems handle complex, real‑world questions in Brazilian Portuguese. This project will help improve how AI delivers accurate, reliable, and context‑aware responses for the Brazilian market.

We are seeking Brazilian Portuguese Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in History to create high‑quality, expert‑level question‑and‑answer content. This role goes beyond basic data labeling and requires deep domain knowledge, critical thinking, and strong writing skills to test advanced reasoning and contextual understanding in Brazilian Portuguese.

Suitable backgrounds may include historians or historiographical researchers; professional or former academic scholars with extensive archival experience; curators or museum directors at the institutional or heritage level; cultural heritage specialists (preservation, restoration, provenance analysis); executives or senior staff at historical societies or national archives; archaeologists or site managers for major historical or excavation projects; historical analysts or journalists with deep domain-specific expertise; government officials in heritage departments, certified archivists, or authorized experts in cultural property.

  • Location: Brazil (Remote) - Open to candidates in Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Florianópolis, Belo Horizonte, Campinas, Vitória, Goiânia, Recife, Fortaleza, Natal, João Pessoa, Maceió, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Brasília, including but not limited to
  • Work Schedule: Part-time (10+ hours per week), fully flexible
  • Rate: 30 USD/hour
  • Start Date: Mid-June
  • Duration: Approx. 2 months

    ### Key Responsibilities
  • Develop advanced, open-ended questions grounded in realistic, real-world scenarios related to historiography, history, historical events or related fields within the Brazilian market
  • Provide in-depth, accurate, and well-structured answers supported by strong domain knowledge
  • Incorporate Brazil-specific cultural, social, and regulatory context where relevant
  • Design content that requires critical thinking, nuance, and multi-step reasoning
  • Ensure clarity, precision, and consistently high writing quality in Brazilian Portuguese
  • Follow detailed project guidelines and meet agreed timelines and quality standards
  •  
    Use of AI tools to generate answers or questions is strictly prohibited.
    ### Requirements
  • Native or fluent proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR)
  • 5–10+ years of professional experience in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated expertise through academic background and/or industry experience
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, structured manner
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality output in a guideline-driven environment

    Nice to Have

  • Experience with content creation, research, education, or knowledge evaluation
  • Familiarity with AI training, data annotation, or evaluation projects
  • Background in interdisciplinary work (e.g. political, social, or cultural history; religion and belief systems; law and legal history; arts and heritage studies; anthropology and sociology)
