Requirements
About the Role
Fixed team provides website support and maintenance services, with a special focus on WordPress. Our clients come to us with a range of issues—some simple, some incredibly complex. We handle a variety of tasks, from one-time fixes like malware cleanups, theme upgrades, and speed optimizations, to ongoing maintenance that includes regular updates, tweaks, and continuous improvements.
What You’ll Do:
Client onboarding and website migration
- Seamlessly onboard new clients through a task/email system, ensuring clear communication and efficient management of the transition process.
- Create staging/testing websites as part of the onboarding and migration process.
Comprehensive website audit and maintenance
- Conduct thorough site audits, making necessary updates primarily within staging environments to ensure stability and performance.
- Execute site optimization tasks, including implementing caching solutions, image compression techniques, and configuring security plugins to enhance site functionality and security.
Ongoing website monitoring
- Regularly monitor site performance and promptly address any alerts or issues, ensuring optimal site health at all times.
Proactive website updates
- Perform regular updates to websites, including WordPress core, themes, and plugins, to keep sites secure and fully functional.
Customer Interaction and Support
- Engage with clients via our task/email system for onboarding and ongoing support.
- Strong written communication skills and a customer-centric approach are essential
What You’ll Bring:
- Deep understanding of WordPress, including site migration, staging environments, and website optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with website security best practices and experience in managing updates.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of using task/email systems for client interaction and handling client communication through chats and phone calls.
- Hosting experience is required.
