We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Clinical Risk & Administrative Manager (RPN/RN) to join our team in a full-time office-based leadership role. This position is ideal for a nurse with extensive clinical and field home care experience who is passionate about supporting staff, overseeing client care, maintaining clinical excellence, and contributing to operational leadership.
The Clinical Risk & Administrative Manager will oversee nursing operations, support field staff with concerns, assist with incident management and investigations, coordinate training and onboarding, ensure compliance with clinical standards, and provide administrative leadership within a fast-paced home and community care environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight, guidance, and support to nursing field staff and client care operations.
- Monitor client risk alerts daily, investigate concerns as they arise, and coordinate timely follow-up to support safe and effective care.
- Review and file new clinical documentation and client updates daily through the HPG portal; communicate relevant updates to field staff; revise care plans as required; and ensure scheduled services align with each client’s current care needs.
- Prepare and investigate internal and external incident reports daily, including reports required by Ontario Health atHome, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), and other applicable organizations.
- Address client, family, and employee concerns promptly and proactively by identifying root causes, coordinating appropriate follow-up, and resolving issues at the source whenever possible.
- Participate in clinical problem-solving, escalations, risk management, and operational support as required.
- Monitor staff adherence to company policies, clinical best practices, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement, compliance, accreditation, and new policy-development initiatives.
- Assist with clinical supervision, mentorship, coaching, and performance support for nursing and other field staff.
- Coordinate and support staff orientation, competency development, continuing education, and ongoing training as required.
- Act as a liaison between new clients, families, The Care Company, and Ontario Health atHome coordinators to support a smooth intake, onboarding, and care-coordination process.
- Collaborate with clients, families, field staff, and healthcare professionals to develop, implement, and maintain accurate and effective care plans.
- Work with clients and families to confirm care requirements, service schedules, and the appropriate level of support.
- Assist with client scheduling and service coordination by responding to calls, troubleshooting coverage concerns, communicating updates, and supporting reliable continuity of care.
- Support operational, administrative, and clinical nursing functions as assigned.
Requirements
- Registered Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the CNO
- Minimum 10 years of nursing experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on home care field experience within the GTA (non-administrative)
- Strong understanding of working with home and community care clients
- Confidence with incident report investigations
- Wide range of clinical experience across multiple patient populations and care settings
- Additional certifications, continuing education, and specialized nursing courses required
- Additional training or certifications related to home care considered a strong asset
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or administrative experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
