The Role
You'll own the full sales motion across two product lines: personal insurance (auto, home, and umbrella) for individual buyers, and commercial coverage for small business owners. Both require speed, trust-building, and a sharp instinct for what a customer actually needs — and you'll be doing it at real volume, all day.
This isn't a role where you nurse a handful of deals through a six-month enterprise cycle. You'll be running a high number of conversations daily, converting consistently, and constantly refining how you do it. The expectation is that you hit the ground running and make the playbook better in the process.
What You'll Do
Work a full pipeline of inbound leads across personal lines and SMB commercial, running a high volume of calls daily
Sell auto, home, and umbrella policies to individual buyers while simultaneously closing commercial accounts with small business owners — reading each type of buyer and adjusting your approach accordingly
Get up to speed on our sales process quickly, then actively identify ways to improve conversion and efficiency
Bring AI into your workflow — use it to sharpen pitches, streamline qualification, and take repetitive work off your plate so you can focus on closing
Document what works and contribute to a sales playbook that scales beyond you
Take on new product lines as we expand
What We're Looking For
A track record of closing at high volume in short-cycle environments — you know what it means to run a full day of calls and still bring your best to the last one
Comfort selling to two very different buyer types: consumers making personal financial decisions and business owners managing risk across their operations
An instinct for process — you don't just sell well, you figure out how to make the whole team sell better
Genuine familiarity with AI tools and how to apply them in a sales context, not just awareness of them
Stability in chaos — you do your best work when things are moving fast and changing often
Willingness to get licensed in P&C insurance across personal and commercial lines (we cover all costs)
Nice to Have
Prior experience in insurance, fintech, or another regulated industry selling to consumers or small businesses
A history of building sales playbooks, not just following them
Founder background or experience scaling an early-stage sales function
An active P&C producer license
