Consultant Psychiatrist

SearchPlus HR is looking for a highly qualified Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team of mental health professionals. In this leadership role, you will provide expert psychiatric care, lead clinical services, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed psychiatric evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex mental health conditions.
• Provide expert consultation and lead clinical decision-making within the psychiatric department.
• Supervise and mentor junior psychiatrists and other clinical staff to promote best practices.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care.
• Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records adhering to regulatory standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in psychiatry to enhance clinical practice.
• Engage in teaching and training activities where appropriate.

Requirements

• Medical degree and licensed practicing psychiatrist.
• Completion of a recognized psychiatry residency and board certification.
• Significant clinical experience in psychiatry with expertise in managing complex cases.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to evidence-based clinical practice and continuous professional development.
• Experience in supervision and mentorship roles is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
